 Grand County Republican Precinct Caucus and Assembly – March 7, 2026

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Grand County Republican Central Committee, and Colorado Revised Statutes § 1-4-601 and § 1-4-602, notice is hereby given that the Grand County Republican Precinct Caucus Meetings and County Assembly shall be convened beginning at 9:00 AM on March 7, 2026 at Middle Park High School, 795 North 2^nd Street, Granby, Colorado. Check-in and credentialing for these meetings will begin at 8:30AM.   Lunch will be provided upon completion of the Caucus meetings. The County Assembly Meeting will convene after lunch.

If you require remote participation access, you must notify Carl Wood, Teller Chair (720-899-2274) before 5pm February 22, 2026.

The principal purposes of the Precinct Caucus Meetings will be:

• Elect a Chair and Co-Chair to serve on the County Central Committee
• To elect 1 delegate and 1 alternate to represent the precinct at the Colorado State Republican Assembly, and all higher District Assemblies.
• To elect the allocated number of delegates and an equal number of alternates to represent their precinct at the County Assembly, which will be convened at the conclusion of the caucus meeting.

A total of 100 delegates and 100 alternate delegates have been authorized by the Executive Committee of the Grand Republican Party for this Assembly, these delegates and alternate delegates have been apportioned in proportion to Republican votes for Trump in the 2024 general election.  County Chair, Vice- Chair, and Secretary are also designated as Assembly delegates.

The principal purposes of the County Assembly will be:

• To ratify the election of precinct Chairs and Co-Chairs elected at the Precinct Caucus;
• To fill by election 11 delegate and 11 alternate positions to the Colorado State Republican Assembly, House District 13, Senate District 8, Judicial District 14, and US House District 2 Assemblies.

  • For the office of Grand County Assessor
  • For the office of Grand County Clerk and Recorder
  • For the office of Grand County Commissioner District 3
  • For the office of Grand County Coroner
  • For the office of Grand County Sheriff
  • For the office of Grand County Surveyor
  • For the office of Grand County Treasurer

NOTE 1: A $50 registration fee has been set by the State GOP for Delegates to attend the State Convention.

NOTE 2: Travel and lodging expenses to attend the State Convention are the responsibility of the Delegate/Alternate.
